Saathi is registered under the following:

Vision:  To work towards creating a Just and Equitable world with a specific focus on youth living on the streets.

Mission:  Saathi is a non-profit development organization working for all members of society with a view to a just and equitable world while specifically focusing on the rights and needs of youth living on the street.  Through projects directed at specific issues, needs and disparities are identified and addressed with an aim to catalyze change both on the micro and macro levels.  Exploration, learning, participation, and sharing ideas and results are core values in these efforts.

Areas of Focus:  

• Youth living on the streets,
• Homeless girls and young women
• Vulnerable / trafficked children

Geographical spread:  Aside from the source-level and transit area intervention, the organization’s direct interventions are conducted in Mumbai. However, Saathi has a national footprint through its partner NGOs, Childline and other collaborators and through direct reunification of children with families across all ofIndia. The source-level intervention is taking place in Mughalsarai, in the state of Uttar Pradesh
